There is great company to be enjoyed during the first Wednesday of each month. For several years, classmates have been meeting for food, drinks, and conversation.  Bring your significant others(s).  

Due to the busy summer months, 1st Wednesday Greet & Eats are not scheduled July or August. September's venue will be announced late August.

It's always "casual," and it's always "okay" to arrive earlier or later than 5:00 p.m.!  

A notice will normally be emailed about one week prior to each Greet & Eat.

Class Reunion 

Our 55 year reunion was held at Traverse City VFW Post 2780 on September 30, 2023.  A nice assortnment of appetizers were available and the very informal event is reported to have been a success. 

Cost was $35 per person.

MEN Seeking Adventure (MENSA).   The ninth annual retreat was held September 5-9 south of Custer, MI.  We were fortunate to reserve 3 modern cabins at Camp Wilwin.  The campground is owned by The American Legion and is purposed to help wounded and traumatized veterans and their families.  Our members were given free use of the cabins, multi-purpose building, golf carts, and a pontoon boat to cruise the small lake.  We had a great time and were compelled (honored) to donate a sizeable sum to the camp. We drove to Pentwater for the Michigan game and met another classmate, then watched the Spartans play ball in beautiful downtown Custer.  Much time around the campfire, strengthening friendships, and eating lots of tasty food.  Fun and safe -- no injuries or illness.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic (and to a smaller degree -- ageing and health), there were no MENSA retreats in 2020 or 2021.
